This was a research project I undertook during my 2nd year of University. The gal of this project was to see how for i could push the Unity physics engine to simulate a real world physics event using a rocket launch as the context.
The development of this project was a challenge and I learned a lot during it. For the project i had to learn how the Unity physics engine works and how to implement real world physics, math's and principles into the engine and how to implement them in the way I wanted. For example applying mass to the rocket and calculating a thrust to weight ratio.
The project shows a graph that plots during the launch of the rocket. the results of which can be compared to data from a real rocket launch.
